Evening Ritual

As evening fades into darkness each day I sit on my screened in porch and play my flute for a while. The neighbors across the pond have taken to sitting around a fire pit listening each night. When the sun is finally gone from view we all have installed twinkle lights, or solar lights that turn on and give us an enchanted way of saying hello to each other.

In that sweet simplicity we acknowledge our happiness at being together during this challenging time.
