Full Moon Reverie

I never take the full moon for granted. It doesn’t let me! It fills my body up with fluid, pain, or gratefully sometimes awe. It wakes me, tosses me around, swirls in with troubling thoughts, unease, or delightful inspirations.

In the dead of night, I’m suddenly wide awake, like it was the energetic high point of my day. I’m puzzled momentarily, till I open the curtain and see that dazzling sphere smiling down at me, casting its lighted path across the backyard and pond. I had not paid attention, had not realized the days had quickly passed and it was time again to honor the power, majesty and magic that only that beautiful full moon can provide.

Pardon me while I go sit by the window in my studio(its too cold to stand on the porch)and howl!!!!🐺
